After a successful Spring Mushroom Foray, it’s time to see what species of mushrooms we can find in the Fall! Join us for a morning of exploring the diverse fungi of Pound Ridge. We will learn the basics of identification while searching for mushrooms in our local forest.
We will also be hosting a mushroom log inoculation demonstration, where participants can learn how to grow their own mushrooms using logs. Everyone will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the inoculation process!
Bring your friends, family, and kids! This is an event that’s fun for everyone.
Don’t forget to dress appropriately for a walk in the woods. Gardening gloves are a plus!
